Welcome to CD Environmental Design
Members of the former Scottish Homes Technical Practice formed CD Environmental Design Ltd in March 1991. From an original complement of 8 staff the Practice now employs a total of 10 staff, including a number of specialist Consultants, at our Head Office in Paisley and Eastern Regional Office in Edinburgh.
Current staff include 2 fully qualified and 1 part-qualified Landscape Architects together with qualified and experienced Technicians and Administrative Staff, Quantity Surveyor, and Site Supervisors. The Practice offers CDM Co-ordinator services via our in-house Consultant.
During its period of operation the Practice has built up a considerable volume of work throughout Scotland, with Clients including The Scottish Government, Local Enterprise Companies, Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Community Groups, Private Developers and individual Private Clients. Some examples of current and completed projects are listed in the schedule, but the Practice is widely experienced in all types and scales of landscape design and management work and is able to offer Clients a complete ‘one-stop’ package including initial advice, detailed design, contract documentation, project management, financial control and CDM co-ordination.
The Practice was registered to BS EN ISO 9001 on the 22 May 1995 and now operates an internal quality system. We are a DOE registered Practice and are on BAA’s select list.
Of particular note is the Practice's use of up-to-date CAD systems and optimum use of our wide range of skills and experience through the quality system.
